You can learn the art of Sefukujitsu Restorative Massage. Red
Dragon Jujitsu Club is offering module one of Master Okazaki’s
Sefukujitsu Restorative Massage program. Black Belt instructors,
certified form the Dan Zan Ryu Sefukujitsu Institute (a division
of the AJJF) are flown in from California to teach this ancient
art of massage and healing. After completion of module one,
graduates receive a certificate of completion from the Danzan
Ryu Sefukujitsu Institute and are allowed to perform therapeutic
massage on family and friends. We are in the process of having
this program approved by the State of Colorado as a Private
Occupational School. This approval allows you to use these
program hours towards massage training and continuing education
credits for professionals such as massage therapists, physical
therapists, and acupuncturists. Graduates of module one meet the
requirements for module two and are eligible to continue their
training. Martial arts and healing arts have been linked
together for centuries and are like, “two sides of a coin”. In
the past many outstanding teachers of martial arts also
practiced healing. Over time, this integral link between healing
and fighting was lost. The art of Sefukujitsu has been in
existence for over 1500 years and is recognized by Associated
Bodywork and Massage Professionals* as a viable massage
technique that enables you to relieve pain and increase
flexibility, regardless of how pain and stiffness started. The
founder of Dan Zan Ryu Jujitsu, Master Okazaki, taught
Sefukujitsu Restoration Massage to his students and promoted the
idea that the healing spirit balances the fighting spirit. From
this tradition, many students of jujitsu and other martial arts
have gone on to open martial art schools and or massage
businesses.
